Wulf’s Lowell is not homozygous polled

The following email was received from Jim Bruce of  Phoenix Genetics Pty Ltd. who markets the semen for Wulf’s Lowell. (Australian ident. IMU PW 7215)

“Wulf's Lowell has been registered and publicised as Homozygous Poll, however we now know he is heterozygous.  Initially he had plenty of polled calves from horned cows to make the claim from a statistical basis, and this was working just fine for over a year of calving.  However, in the last year there have been a few horns.  Could you please amend your records, and include the news in your weekly bulletin.”
