DNA Requests: Please ensure any DNA tests wanting to be completed prior to Christmas/New Year is submitted well in advance. Turnaround times with Neogen are 4-6 weeks, unfortunately we are unable to submit urgent requests to Neogen for you.

Sale Catalogues: If needing to book a sale catalogue, please complete & sign the application form no later than 10 days prior to the day the catalogue is required. Catalogue processing will not begin until paperwork has been received at the Office. If an urgent request, members will be charged an urgent processing fee of 10% of final catalogue cost.

Canberra Show Entries: Royal Canberra Show will be the first Australian Royal show of 2024, held the 23-25th of February. We are expecting entries to open shortly. In preparation for this, we please request that any members wishing to enter their animals, to check their registrations are correct and are not pending registration.

All animals including calves at foot must be tested for Pesti-Virus and certified as non PI (Persistently infected). Please make sure you have submitted DNA requests soon for any of your cattle you wish to show before our office closure period to ensure you get these results prior to the entry closure date.

Sale Advertisements: For any member with sales occurring early into the New Year and would like to have an advertisement designed, place an advertisement in the newsletter the final newsletter for the year will be Friday 22nd December 2023. Please have any advertisements booked with the Communications team by Friday 8th December 2023 so that we are aware and have time to prepare these. The first newsletter in the New Year will be on Friday 12th January 2024, if you wish to supply content for this, please have it submitted to communications by Wednesday 10th January 2024.

E-blasts: For any members wanting to send out E-blasts early in the New Year this is something we can schedule to go out when you wish. To be able to do this we are requesting that any E-blast bookings and material be submitted to communications by Friday 8th December 2023, this allows for time to prepare these and get them proofed by you and then scheduled ready to go out during this period.
