The Limousin breed dominated the purebred led steer competition at Canberra Royal with Limousin steers winning every class and dominating the placings with only one steer from another breed in the placings (4th).

The Champion Purebred Led Steer was exhibited by St Johns College, Dubbo and came from the Purebred Steer over 531kg liveweight class. The Reserve Champion Purebred Led Steer was exhibited by Scott Myers and Sam Beresford, Myers Limousins and came from the Purebred Steer under 330kg Liveweight class.
