In the trade section a Limousin x Hereford steer from John Barber and Lone Chorley, Manjimup. was awarded the grand champion and champion extra heavyweight prime steer of the show, and sold to Kim McDougall, Harvey Beef for $2700.

The Reserve Grand Champion of the prime steer or heifer section was a Limousin x Murray Grey heifer from the Barber-Chorley stable. This heifer was also purchased by Harvey Beef for $1700.
