This event was held Thursday 17th September at the Singleton Showground oxycontin 15 mg. There were over 80 head of cattle in the competition ranging from unled cattle (singles in pens) to led cattle paraded by school students.

Grand Champion on the Hoof was won by Brisbane Waters Secondary College – Umina Campus with a Limousin steer.

The Grand Champion on the Hook was won by a Lim-Flex steer exhibited by St Catherine’s College, Singleton with 90.843 points. The steer had a live weight of 566kg, a carcase weight of 393kg, it scored maximum points for P8 fat and rib fat with an EMA of 118 sq cm.

Limousin and Limousin X steers performed very well in the classes;
Section 1 – Single Steer, Unled:
Champion steer was an Angus X Limousin exhibited by Greg Ernst.
Reserve Champion steer was a Limousin X exhibited by Farrer Memorial Ag. High School
Section 2 – Heifer, Unled
Reserve Champion heifer was a Limousin X Santa Gertrudis exhibited by RA & CD Marshall
Section 3 – School Led Steer or Heifer
Champion Led (School) Steer or Heifer was a Limousin steer exhibited by BWSC – Umina Campus which went on to become the Grand Champion on the Hoof.
Reserve Champion Led (School) Steer or Heifer was a Limousin X exhibited by Farrer Memorial Ag. High School.
Pasture Fed Steer or Heifer Unled
Champion Pasture Fed Steer or Heifer was a Limousin X Angus exhibited by Craig & Kristy Walker
