Geoff and Cheryl Haack, Benamitchy Limousins have taken out the Beaudesert Show Carcase Competition for 2015.

The carcase competition is held at Highchester Meats at Gleneagle each year in the lead-up to the show. In 2015, 36 carcases were entered in the competition from 11 entrants.

Geoff & Cheryl Haack won the Carcase Competition with a single heifer on the hook in the 160kg – 220kg category.

Geoff commented that over the past 3 years with nine animals entered by four different Benamitchy bulls they have had a very pleasing success rate with one champion carcase, five firsts and one third.

All 5 classes were won by Limousin/Limousin cross animals including the Reserve Champion Carcase.
