A Limousin X Murray Grey exhibited by Yanco Agricultural College was the Grand Champion steer at this year’s Melbourne Royal Show. Bred by R & S Fairley, the 12 month old steer had earlier taken out the Champion Medium Domestic steer award. The steer was also awarded the Champion School steer.

Champion Heavy Domestic steer was won by a purebred Limousin exhibited by St Pauls College, and bred by J & S Sheehy, Limoges Limousin stud, Lake Bathurst, NSW. This steer was also awarded the Reserve Champion School steer.

Reserve Champion Heavy Domestic steer was won by Double A Cattle Co with a Limousin X Angus/Hereford steer bred by Bulloch Holdings.

Champion Export steer was a Limousin X Shorthorn exhibited by Lewis Bruggeman and bred by SR & HE Jaeschke.

Grand champion steer being sashed by judge Matt Spry, Tamworth, NSW, and led by Logan Manwarring, Yanco Agricultural School, the steer also became the Champion School Steer of the show.
